Skip Burrows Court Bowls Club

The club could well be the oldest in Peterborough, already having a large membership when the Peterborough League was formed in 1913 and it was one of the original league teams.

The club is also known as the Conservative Bowls Club but it has no political allegiance so we have renamed it Burrows Court to avoid any confusion and not put off potential members.

The club owns its own green and premises in Burrows Court.

We compete in afternoon, evening and weekend leagues and the league cup competitions, and we were winners of the Munday Shield in 2021.

We have a licensed bar and hold various social functions (usually on Friday evenings) as well as many internal competitions.

We welcome new members, either experienced or complete novices to support our league teams.
